Today was a fun day. Again it was overcast and cool. When we got to Willard Beach it was about 58 degrees, the water about the same temp as land. We walked along the beach and looked for sea glass and shells. We also found some cool rocks. I went in the water up to my ankles, pretty darn chilly, seeing people swim in it was amazing. They did have wet suits on though.
After that we headed to the pier to get on a cruise of the Lighthouses of Portland. We saw 4 lighthouses from the water, it was a really neat experience, however we were COLD. Poor Jennie had on two coats, and a blanket. The water was pretty calm, but it was still hazy out so the pictures don't reflect the typical day with sunshine. There was a neat little place to eat that was a floating ferry. It was yummy. The rest of the gang had seafood, I had my special meal cooked away from all fish/seafood!
We then headed for Portland Head Light for a quick walk around. Then down to a beach for some more sea glass.
Here are some pictures!
