New York City day 2!

This morning we got our hop on hop off bus tickets and took a bus to the Empire State building.  If you know me you know that heights are not my thing at all!  In the past I have done Empire without any problems and I had a feeling it would be the same.  I am happy to say I did not freak out!  YAY.  Its such a neat viewpoint and I would have been sad to miss it.   The worst part up there was some of the tourists.  Most every person we have dealt with in the city has been kind and helpful.  The tourists, not so much.  There is a lot of pushing and shoving to get where they want to be.  Tonight on the street I heard a man say he would like to walk someplace that there were no crowds...well NYC may not be his cup of tea:)  

We came back for a rest and then got in a cab to head to Book of Mormon.  WOW.  I loved it, I laughed so hard that I had tears.  It was so great!  I think I have hooked Cheryl into my addiction in full now.  We do not have tickets for anything else, but we are going to do TKTS for some shows.  I think we are going to try to get tickets to Jersey Boys, and Rock of Ages.  I am still pushing for Annie with Jane Lynch though:)  Who knows what will happen. 

Pictures today are not that plentiful but tomorrow I should get some good ones.  This is our 14th day on vacation and Jennie's 12th.  It feels like we have not been gone that long.  I do miss the pups.  I know they are happy and that is what is important.  My mom is doing a great job of keeping them for us.
