We are getting closer to leaving! With all this yucky weather we keep having I think I will be happy to get out of Oklahoma. I am sure I will miss it when I am gone but I am happy to have some new things to look at and enjoy.
What are some of the things I am most excited about? I think I am most excited to see some old friends. Being in the Air Force was my life and we moved so much but it was the people I would miss the most when we moved. I hope to see my friend from Camp Wazi, Dru, Shannon from High School, Gina from High School, and maybe some of my teachers. I am looking forward to going to Prescott Park and watch one of the musicals they put on each summer, this time as a guest not a crew member:) We are going to a Yankees game, seeing a musical on Broadway. It is really hard to pick out what I am excited about because I am so excited about everything.
The beach...the ocean...the rocks...the light houses...historic places...collecting shells...reading...relaxing...driving...this list could go on forever and ever. Making memories of course is 99% of this trip!
What I am going to miss is our dogs. Binky will miss us I am sure. I am also pretty sure he will somehow convince my mom that he needs to be hand fed. He will get into something that is important to her no matter what she does in advance. Bullet will miss us as well but he will just go with the flow. Both of them will love being able to run in and out in the yard since that is something we do not have for them to do. They will be missed.
