Today was another great day. We went down to the 9/11 memorial. They have done a good job with the site in my opinion. It was reflective, calm, and sobering. There isn't much else I can say about it other than, I hope we never have to go through something that awful again as a country.
We then went and did a cruise around the Statue of Liberty. It was very nice and out of the sun for me. I have a wicked sunburn on my neck today:( We finished up and headed back for Times Square. I hopped in line for TKTS right at about 255pm, they open at 3pm. I had our three tickets for Annie in about 30 minutes! Tomorrow we are going to try for Jersey Boys, Rock of Ages, or Mama Mia. We came back to the hotel to rest for a bit. Then out to the theater again. Annie was so good. It was the first play I saw as a child and it means a lot to me. My favorite song was "Maybe". Jane Lynch was outstanding in her role! The girl that played Annie was a powerhouse singer as well.
The rest of this post is going to be pictures because I am a bit sleepy tonight.
