Its been a busy and fun day in the Big Apple. We took a bus to the Guggenheim and looked around. I got some ok pictures in the places that allowed them, and one "no pictures allowed picture". I wouldn't have taken it if I didn't think it was ok, there were a lot of other people taking pictures in the round part. Oh well. Then we took another bus over to the Museum of Modern Art. We stopped into Lindys for lunch...expensive, and slow service. In addition they tried to give me a meal I didn't order that had fish in it. YIKES. That would have been horrible. Then we walked over to MoMA and saw many amazing pieces of art. My favorite was Starry Night. Then we came back for a rest.
Later we took a night tour on a double decker bus. It was amazing and so interesting. Aside from the fight I saw in Chinatown. I was on one side of the bus and saw a guy sitting on top of another guy, punching him, then he pulled out a knife and did something, saw blood...then he used a taser on him. There were about 10 people standing there watching it and filming it on their phones! The tour guide said that it was a private duty security person taking care of a theft but I am not so sure about that. The cops then started flying down the street pretty quick. Kind of scary! The part where we went over the bridge was a bit scary for me so I focused on something else. The lights of the city are so pretty. Times Square was packed! I forgot how much it is lit up. It looks like daylight!
Here are some pictures.
