North Adams-Pittsfield-Lenox-Stockbridge

The days have been filled with lots of fun things.  We stopped in Amherst to see Emily Dickson's house after leaving Boston.  It was really neat to hear about her and her writing.  They found over 1000 poems!  We found out, while waiting for our tour that Eric Carle had a museum down the road so after a stop to see Emily Dickinson's grave we headed that way.  It was a lot of fun.  Amazing art, and lots of fun things in the gift store!   We then drove on to our hotel for the night, it was a long trek up a huge mountain with lots of curves.  We stopped and got some pictures.  Turns out we stayed at the bottom of the hills for the night.

In the morning we headed towards Pittsfield to see Herman Melville's house.  It was also really interesting.  We then headed to Lenox to see Edith Warton's home.  She really had the fanciest house we have seen.

We had found out that Stockbridge has some Chiluly art so we stopped there.  Ate at a nice little place during a huge thunderstorm.  Then walked to the gallery.  It was neat!  And free;)   Then we drove to Norman Rockwell's museum, that was excellent!   Then drove through the hills again towards our stop for the night in Oneonta NY.  Tomorrow is our trip to the Baseball Hall of Fame, followed by the journey to Niagara Falls!

Here are the pictures
